Women are now compelled to change their routes and some have even started to jog in the city traffic instead of running alone in the woods. Others have stopped wearing headphones and make it a point to carry their Road ID. This ID typically has emergency contact information.
A lot of women expressed concern for their safety even during the day since both the attacks on the two female runners took place during the daylight hours. Some suggest using apps that track you and share locations with relatives.
